An Incomplete Dream Without You
A song to the girl I found in my dreams,
Standing alone where the wild grass gleams.
She calls me closer with a silent plea,
A whispered invitation, just for me.
With each passing second, a blessing unfolds,
Her smile, her gaze, like stories untold.
They sway my heart, to the edge of the deep,
A love so profound, it makes me weep.
As this dream fades, I yearn for more,
Not knowing if time will freeze, or soar.
But for you, my heart will always pine,
Like the sun that longs for the moon to shine.
Though destined apart, I’ll wait through the years,
A hundred lifetimes, despite my fears.
For in a single day, if we should meet,
It will be enough—my heart’s complete.
With that heart, whole and true,
I’ll gift it to you, for you to keep, too.
And as the day fades, I long to say,
Yet drift into darkness, as night claims its sway.
With worlds collapsing, I hold on tight,
To the hope that one day, in the softest light,
The girl from my dreams will come to me,
And in her hands, my heart will forever be.
(A girl that came in my dream)
